Many restrictions are going around the bend especially with the increase of COVID cases surging in Ontario. However, there are opportunities to still find a job.

One of the simplest and most effective ways especially in a smaller urban area like Brantford is to walk around highly consentrated business areas. There are usually hiring signs out on a few of them. Even if there aren’t any hiring signs, it doesn’t hurt to call them and chat with the HR department to see if the are.

When walking about try to bring along a few physical copies of your updated resume–there might be a few companies willing to accept your resume in-person. Just be sure to see what their policy is–however, be sure to have a pdf or Word copy of your resume on your smart phone where you can easily email it to the company.
